This royal skull ring was created by ATTILIO CODOGNATO in 1906. The tulle and chiffon dress is from DIOR.

The “Vanitas Rings” depicting three royal skulls and a coffin are inlaid with diamonds, onyx and enamel. The coat is designed by NICOLAS GHESQUIÉRE for BALENCIAGA.

This ottoman coat from BALENCIAGA by NICOLAS GHESQUIÉRE offsets the Santa Maria del Popolo pendant that personifies Death as a skeleton swahed in a billowing white cloak. The gold cage encasement is framed by angel wings and a clepsydra.

Coral skulls with crowns and wings are the centerpieces of these gold and diamond earrings. The blazer is from PIAZZA SEMPIONE.

Two golden snakes encrusted with diamonds and rubies sinuosl wind their way up the arm. The tulle ERES bra and pink chantilly lace LA PERLA bra are layered under a satin bolero by JASON WU. The burgundy skirt is from AZZEDINE ALAÏA.

A gold sunburst frames a skull with ruby eyes. The other earring fashions a cross of gold and diamonds. The dress is from AZZEDINE ALAÏA.

Gold leaves surround the medallions depicting two skulls and a flower bouquet. The collier rests atop the dress from AZZEDINE ALAÏA.

This necklace features a coral and agate arm dangling cross, skulls, key, horseshoe, and talismans all traditionally used to ward off anathemas. The ivory LA PERLA and nude ERES bras are layered under a blazer by HAIDER ACKERMANN. The skirt is by ANN DEMEULEMEESTER collection.

When Mr. Codognato found glass eyes worn by blinded soldiers, he framed them in gold and suspended them from diamond-eyed skull earrings. The dress is from PIAZZA SEMPIONE.
