The oldest section of the Danieli Hotel, the Palazzo Dandolo, was initially built at the end of the 14th century for Doge Enrico Dandolo. In 1822, Italian entrepreneur Giuseppe Dal Niel (nicknamed Danieli) rented out a floor of the Palazzo Dandolo as a guesthouse, becoming so successful he was eventually able tp overtake and restore the entire property. Dal Niel's hotel, which was rechristened the Hotel Danieli, quickly ascended to international recognition as Venice's premier bastion of Old World elegance anf Gothic luxury. Illustrious figures such as Balzac, Proust, Wagner, Garbo, and Chaplin were loyal guests. George Sand lived in room number 10 with her lover Alfred de Musset in 1833. Elizabeth Taylor is rumored to have spent two separate honeymoons in the Doge Suite.

The paisley-printed indian cotton shirt, and the pleated mini-skirt with golden trims, both by THAKOON, are styled with brown and pink oxford shoes from COLE HAAN.

This dusty pink lace dress from VALENTINO is made of guipure de Flanders and styled with VALENTINO GARAVANI necklace. The leather gloves are from SERMONETA.

The Maison DIOR proposes a timeless gown in black chiffon with a draped tulle bodice, cinched by an embroidered waistline belt.

PRADA beige handbag profiled in red leather compliments the leather gloves with crochet detail by SERMONETA.

The tobacco satin coat with overlying bouquet embroidery is worn on a chiffon blouse and a sablè skirt, all by PRADA. The leather gloves from SERMONETA complete the look.

The beetroot linen parka is styled with a fawn rose faille skirt, both from the BURBERRY PRORSUM collection.

The pink lamè sweater and frilled dress belong to the ROCHAS collection. The patent sandals are by PRADA.

The antique pink cashmere cardigan, adorned with knitted braids, is from the RALPH LAUREN COLLECTION.

An off-white loose silk trenchcoat is worn on a nude floor-lenght dress, edged with a black beads. All from the ANN DEMEULEMEESTER collection.

A modern elegance surrounds this endless pink skirt. The look is completed by a sheer, rose-petal-printed shirt. Both from JASON WU. The earrings with rose jasper and cast stones are by IOSSELIANI. The rope and suede flat sandals are from VALENTINO GARAVANI.

The double wool coral cape, and crêpe de chine shirt, both belong to the PIAZZA SEMPIONE collection.
