Since its creation in 1964, the Cambridge Folk Festival has been one of the most popular summer events in the world. For three days in July, the lawns of Parker's Piece in Cambridge provide free entertainment for upwards of 20,000 people. The festival is welcoming to all, including families, university students, couples and community groups.
