L’Orpheline is the new fragrance by Serge Lutens, now available at Lutens’ Palais Royal boutique in Paris.

After Laine de Verrewhich was dedicated to his motherL’Orpheline pays an olfactive homage to another feminine figure, which Lutens describes as the abandoned part of his identity. Growing up fatherless and feeling abandoned by his mother, Lutens turns a painful, intimate past into a scent. The narrative involves the perfumier’s two-sided essence: “The Vanquished” (girl) and “The Victor” (boy).

L’Orpheline is available now at Serge Lutens' Palais Royal boutique on the perfumier's website, and in perfumeries and department stores starting in September 2014.
L’Orpheline special edition "Lettrines" is available now at Palais Royal Serge Lutens, and starting from October in all of Lutens' points of sale.
L’Orpheline special edition "Croix de Cimetière" is available now at Palais Royal Serge Lutens, and starting from October in all of Lutens' points of sale.
