From February 22 to April 30, 2025, Contemporary Cluster of Rome will host the exhibition oggetto scultura, parola, disegno. The exhibition, a group show featuring works by LETIA – Letizia Cariello / Cuoghi Corsello / Vittorio Corsini / Maurizio Donzelli / Pietro Fortuna / Eugenio Giliberti / Vittorio Messina, is characterized by a dialogue between four works by each artist, some of which are site-specific and created specifically for the occasion. This will allow for an exploration of each artist’s expressive freedom and their need to practice all techniques – from drawing to assemblage, from installation to monochrome painting, from neon to the use of words – with particular attention to the object/sculpture. At the same time, this dialogue will reveal a certain trend in Italian art that emerged in the 1980s and ’90s, confronting and reacting to the post-modern culture and the lasting wave of expressionist figurative painting that spread during that period, as well as the subsequent neo-conceptual proposal.
